It is a vibrant\, informative and safe space for researchers\, practitioners\, policymakers\, donors\, survivors and others to share and learn about new research\, developments and innovations. It is the largest abstract driven conference dedicated to research on prevention of and response to violence against women in all their diversity and violence against children.

DESCRIPTION:Registration is now open for 2024 EAR Conference. It is organized by AfECN in partnership with the AU CESA ECED Cluster and the Tanzania Early Childhood Development Network. It will be held from March 11-14\, 2024 in Dar es Salaam. \nThis conference provides a platform for taking stock of the status of early childhood in the region\, sharing knowledge\, and learning how to take innovative models of quality early childhood interventions to scale. \nThe theme is Investing in Early Childhood: Building Human Capital along the Life Course. The conference will be open to multisectoral stakeholders interested in improving early childhood outcomes including: \n\nPolicy Makers\nCSOs/FBOs/CBOs\nGrassroots Advocacy Organizations including Women and Youth Groups\nAcademia\nDevelopment Partner Organizations\n\nAfECN is currently accepting registration as well as calling for submissions for abstracts\, side events\, exhibition\, and sponsorship.

DESCRIPTION:Thematic Evidence Groups \nWhile individual organizations implement programmes that address different types of violence against children\, there is need for organizations working on common VAC issues to connect and share experiences around different aspects of evidence-based programming including locating relevant evidence and interrogating its strength.
