VaCNets Virtual Hub Vision and Mission
Launched on 24th March 2022, VaCNets virtual Hub exists to serve as a central repository of all types of evidence including local knowledge from program practice and research on What works in the prevention of VAC in East Africa; as well as a platform that connects practitioners for knowledge exchange and learning from available evidence.
Our Vision
To be the leading virtual information sharing and networking hub on Violence against Children in East Africa.
Mission
To provide the most accessible information exchange platform on evidence-based approaches to ending Violence against Children, adaptation and innovation.
Our Target Group
The primary target group are practitioners (implementors of interventions aimed at protecting children from violence). Practitioners are the core target group given their critical role in the generation and use of practice-based evidence, necessary for program quality
